With the fast-approaching holiday season in mind, Comcast has dipped their hand into their bag of goodies – their own version of Santa’s sack perhaps – and come up with gifts that any homeowner would love to have. Through its home services brand Xfinity, the telecommunications company is looking to make the holidays even happier.
Starting November 10, prospective customers in all regions who acquire any one of a specific set of home service triple play packages (TV, Internet and Voice) will have the option to receive a Visa Card or a Samsung Galaxy Tablet. Homeowners who choose to subscribe to a Starter Xfinity Triple Play or HD Preferred Triple Play will be able to look forward to a prepaid Visa Card with up to $100. Those who acquire HD Preferred Plus Triple Play will be privy to a Visa Card with up to $150, or if they so desire, a Samsung Galaxy 8” tablet. Two other packages in the mix are the HD Premier Triple Play and the HD Complete, where the subscriber would be able to receive up to $200 or $250 respectively, or the 8” tablet.
Though it would be ideal for these offerings to be on the cards 365 days of the year, it actually comes to an end on November 30 for those in the Western region, and December 8 for those in the Central and Northern Eastern Demographic regions.
A better Black Friday/Cyber Monday you couldn’t imagine
Though it may not be recognized as an official holiday, it is evident that Comcast has no issue “upping the ante” for Black Friday and the subsequent Cyber Monday activities. While some may be seeking their “must-haves” in crowded retail stores, those looking to acquire home services packages can do so without the hassle, and possibly receive eve greater rewards.
With their Black Friday/Cyber Monday offerings that seem too good to be true those who subscribe to any of the packages listed above will be able to receive double the amounts quoted. Therefore, the Starter XF TP and HD Preferred TP will be up to $200, HD Preferred Plus up to $300, the HD Premier TP up to $400, and the HD Complete will be up to $500. Notably, the option of the Samsung Galaxy 8” tablet is still applicable to the coinciding packages. This promotion runs from November 26 to December 2 in all regions.
It Doesn’t End There
If for whatever reason a homeowner does not grab the opportunity to subscribe during one of the earlier mentioned promotional periods, there is still a chance to do so. Running from December 9 until the end of the quarter, subscribers will be able to receive cash back rewards – yes, the tablets are now off the table.
The Starter XF TP will revert to the option of a Visa Card with up to $100, but the others will change. HD Preferred TP will up to $75, HD Preferred Plus TP will be up to $100, HD Premier TP up to $150, and HD Complete will be up to $200.
It really can’t get much better than this, can it? The “traditional” gifts are still cool, but these Xfinity offerings can just about make everyone’s holiday that more enjoyable. Not only will they be able to enjoy the high quality services they desire, but also be able to look forward to receiving money back, or a Samsung Galaxy tab. Happy holidays indeed.
